What is your return policy?

Motto accepts returns for a refund on all items (including sale items) within 30 days from date of receipt.

All items must be in their original, unworn, and unused condition, with all tags intact.

It's very rare, but occasionally we have FINAL SALE items for sale (these are clearly marked) - They are the only items that aren't eligable for a return due to their heavily discounted nature (unless faulty of course)!

How do I make a return?

Don't you hate hard returns policies? So do we! Therefore, you don’t need to let us know you are returning an item.

All your returns information will be included in your parcel once you receive it. Our lovely postie delivers your returns back to us with a smile and our speedy customer care team will action your return same day as receiving your returned goods.

What are my return options?

  1. Refund to your original method of payment
  2. Exchange for another item (let us know your exchange ASAP so we can check on stock availability).
  3. Store Credit to your Motto online account (this never expires)

Can I return an item to a Motto retail store?

Absolutely! We want to make your life as easy as possible. At this stage, a refund cannot be completed in a Motto store unless a special arrangement has been made (which we can certainly do - just let us know prior).

Our store will lodge your return acceptance and our online team will process your refund within 1 business day. Once you have returned your item back to a store, consider it handled.

Do you cover the return costs?

If you are returning a full priced item, you can return your goodies back at our expense using our REPLY PAID address. If the item you bought was on sale, you will need to cover the postage costs. Items marked as FINAL SALE cannot be returned due to their heavily discounted nature.

All the information you need for a return will be included in your online parcel - we pride ourselves on making this an easy process for you!

How long will it take for my refund to arrive?

Sometimes packages can take a few days to get back to us, so please allow up to 5 days for us to process your return from the time you send your items back. We will process your request within 1 day of receiving it.

Oh no! My item is faulty - What can I do?

Motto takes extreme care in ensuring our goods are of the highest quality. However, if for any reason you find a fault with one of our products, we will help you! Just contact us so we can arrange a replacement item for you immediately, offer a repair if possible, or we can give you a full refund.

I live outside of Australia, How do I make a return?

Returning items from New Zealand? No worries! We're offering FREE Returns to our Kiwi neighbours for a limited time. All you need to do is email our Returns Queens at [email protected], and they'll get the ball rolling for you. Easy!

Items returned from outside of Australia and New Zealand will be at your own cost.
Please note: items marked as FINAL SALE cannot be returned unless the item is faulty.
Reply Paid postage is only available for domestic Australian customers.
